As it became known, the Bulgarian authorities took care of issuing visas for children from Russia. According to the head of the department of tourism of Russia N. Angelkova, such measures are aimed primarily at increasing the number of tourist trips. It is expected that the Bulgarian resorts will regain their former popularity in the near future.
So, young tourists under the age of 16 who come to Bulgaria for excursion purposes or to take part in children's activities can exercise the right to free visa processing. As the Minister of Tourism clarified, the rule applies only to organized children's groups and will allow children to spend an unforgettable time at the best resorts in the country. And if you consider that the Black Sea coast of the region is famous for its children's health resorts, there will be no end to those wishing to spend a few days in the company of their peers. Indeed, according to officials of the Ministry of Tourism, it was the difficulty of obtaining a document and the high cost that were the main "deterrent" factors for tourists from Russia.
N. Angelkova also stated that close negotiations are underway to expand the categories of tourists who will be able to use the right to free registration of entry documents.
In addition, the Bulgarian authorities decided to revise the cost of visas for guests from Russia, reducing the price of services in January from 35 to 10 euros. At the same time, the very procedure for issuing documents remained the same - Russians do not need to submit their biometric data.
Since February 1, there have been significant changes in the procedure for issuing a Croatian visa. Croatian representative in Russia K.Florshitz said that from this moment it will be possible to apply for an entry document only through special visa centers. Today, there are 18 such centers in Russia. Let us remind you that earlier these functions were performed by the embassy.
First of all, these changes took place in connection with the process of Croatia's entry into the Schengen area. But those wishing to visit the sights of this country should not despair. As the consul assured, the very procedure for issuing visas (in particular, the requirements for the documents submitted) will remain the same and do not entail the need to submit biometric data. In addition, visa centers will not require work or bank statements or other similar documents.
At the same time, the head of the tourism center Raiko Ruzicka expressed regret that the popularity of the tourist destination in 2015 decreased by almost a quarter (or 35 thousand people). He expressed the hope that soon the interest in Croatian resorts among Russians will begin to grow.
